3) What if the pages do not seem to load from the internet or from the CD ROM?
a) Be sure that you are using Internet Explorer as your browser. In the future we hope that the course will become compatible with Netscape Navigator. You can download Internet Explorer at the  Downloads Page. Mozilla Firefox is also a compatible browser.

4) The movies do not seem to work, now what?
a) You may need to update your windows media player. You can update your media player by going to the Downloads Page.

5) I cannot hear the lectures, now what?
a) Turn your sound up. If you click on the yellow speaker on the bottom right of your computer screen a volume control pop-up screen will appear. You may need to adjust the volume control.

b) Check your speaker to be sure that they are plugged into your computer. You may also need to adjust the speaker volume controls on the speakers themselves if they are present.

c) You may need to update your windows media player. You can update your media player by going to the Downloads Page.

6) What do I do if I am always getting "cannot find site" or "cannot load page" error messages?

a) You may need to do a re-start of your computer.

b) You may need to have the most up to date Explorer of Mozilla browser. You may find the links to update at the Downloads Page.

c) If you are attempting to view the Health Video Library lectures, you may need to download the most recent Real Player. You can do this at the Downloads Page.

7) I do not understand some of the subject material. Who can help me?
a) You can email the instructor and ask for specific help. 
b) You also may consult your textbook for additional information or help.

c) You can call the instructor if you like as well.

8) What are the instructor's office hours?
a) The instructor will be in his office from 10:00am until 11:00am Monday thru Friday.
b) There will also be virtual office hours posted as soon as the instructor figures out how to do it?

9) I would like to find out how well I am doing in the class. Can I find out my grade?
a) You can find your grade in the GRADES link on your navigation bar in D2L

10) I would just like a print-out of the notes (text only). How can I do this?
a) You will need to purchase the "STUDY GUIDE" in order to print out notes for the course.

11) Can I do anything for extra-credit?
a) There are no options for extra credit for this class. If you are having problems with the material and assignments that are given please contact the instructor.

12) I do not understand why I am getting such low scores on the Case Studies?
